I worked with Air France cabin crew as a posture expert to implement a targeted muscle strengthening program and good postural practices. The goal: to prevent musculoskeletal disorders related to repetitive movements and the constraints of the job, particularly handling suitcases, trolleys, and other bulky objects.

A Tailored Approach

To be effective, I first listened to the teams’ needs, observed their habits, and took into account the specific constraints of the aviation environment: limited space on airplanes, a fast-paced work schedule, and a diverse workforce, ranging from non-athletic to highly athletic.

Implementation of Appropriate Solutions

  • Warm-up routines to prepare the body before each flight
  • Stretching to relieve tension after exercise
  • Optimized postures to limit pain and prevent injuries
  • Techniques for handling heavy objects safely
  • Toning exercises to strengthen stressed areas`Personalized postural advice based on individual needs. Beyond sharing the tools, my role was also to convince people of the importance of these habits, demonstrating their concrete benefits on the health and well-being of the teams. It was a rewarding experience where adaptability and listening were essential to come up with effective solutions that were easy to integrate into daily life!
